Background: His father was a member of the Cove, his father's father was a member...all his life he knew nothing but the Cove, never allowed to love, never allowed to walk the earth without some greater objective. It is believed that the Cove causes and ends all major events in the world. It is home to politicians, generals, merchants, thieves, and when needed. The assassin. There are only four masters. One for each region of the world. There are only 8 active in each region, only one will become a master.There are also 100 students of each region. Only 8 will graduate. This is the only world Deajin knows.

Personality: Cold, blunt, and a little naive. He has never known anything but the shadows, he doesn't even know if Deajin is actually himself, or simply what people call him when they need him. He does not associate himself with anyone but members of the Coven, a strict rule only known to assassins, making his social skills simply non existent. The one thing he does enjoy is the occasional meal with the students of his master, which is where he spends most of his time. It is a fleeting feeling because he knows that the vast majority of them will not live to become his companion.

He does not realize there are darker things in the world than the Cove.

Background:  Not much is known about Akane's past. Any family is either dead or they are not around, having been sold as slaves or god knows what. Akane herself is in the care of a General that she does not much care for, but he clothes and feeds her, as well as gives her a place to sleep safely at night.  He found her out on the streets looking for somewhere warm to sleep in the middle of the winter and chose to take her home with him.  His intent for her is still unknown though any advances he has made on her have not been received well.

Personality: She is a strong willed young lady and is more mature than some girls her own age.  She does not like to be fawned over and she doesn't have much self esteem.  She hates to be fretted over and she almost always cares more for other than herself, as well as animals.
