Just to let you guys know, I like controversial conversation; I'd probably post one about religion but... those can get REALLY messy. So I think I'll keep that one on the back burner.

So here's my question. Smoking, what's your opinion?

I'll be perfectly clear, I smoke, always have. If that makes you think less of me, not my problem. But I have a lot of friends who are divided on the issue. Some smoke themselves, others don't smoke but don't really care if someone else does, and others completely condemn it. At first, my boyfriend hated it with a passion, but he's learnt to deal with it

I don't want bitching about the health risks. Truth be told EVERYONE who smokes knows the dangers okay? I really don't think we need another lecture.

So what I want to know is: Do you think smoking is okay? Do you smoke? Would you date someone who smoked? Etc. etc. etc.

When it comes to smoking I'm kinda neutral, I do smoke but I don't do it regularly, only like 2 to 4 times a month, even if that.

Mainly due to my family down further south smoking like chimneys. o.O literally. I always hated the smell as a kid, but I learned to deal with it and respect anyones choice to smoke or not smoke. It's only when they're like "YEAH WELL IT'S NOT ILLEGAL SO FUCK OFF" or "SECOND HAND SMOKE KILLS MAH UNBORN CHILD DURR" when I start to get a little irritated. However I smoke only outside either by myself or with my friends that are okay with it and I'll respect someone for POLITELY asking to not smoke around them. x3


I'm not sure if I'd date a hardcore smoker though. o.O maybe like me and only partaking every now and then but I don't think I'd be able to handle an everyday smoker.


....Also I saw this porn where this chick was smoking and giving head at the same time....was...kind of creepy o.O

Truth be told, i've been smoking since i was sixteen, was a lot less back then, but kind of climbed its way up when life hit a road bump, not that i really care on the matter to much, one life so may as well do what i want with it.

I don't like people who openly bitch about smoking to smokers, the kind that seek smokers out and tell them its bad or whatever, I make a point to if i smoke in public to seek out an unoccupied chair in the park or whatever away from people, won't smoke in a car unless the owner does, only smoke inside my caravan at the hotel because it gets so cold outside at night.

I wouldn't care if i dated someone who smoked, if they didn't id like them to be respectful, if they don't smoke i won't smoke around them, they just have to tell me politely.

It's a choice to smoke, so it's okay and it's not depends on who you ask.

I don't smoke, though there have been times I've seen the appeal.

Chances are, I won't though due to my mild asthma.

I've been around my mother who smoked my entire childhood so those who chose to do so around me doesn't really bug me. Its not a bother to me for people to smoke, nor is it a reason someone should get mad. What I don't like is being asked for money to buy cigarettes. I will not fuel someone's habit. If they can't afford to smoke, they shouldn't be smoking. That's my only take on the situation.

I've always been a really weird smoker. Because it's not something I"m addicted to it never bothered me. There are some times where I'll go through a few packs and then there are other times I don't smoke for months/years on end. Or I'll just have a cigarette here and there. I'd say I'm a Social/Emotional smoker. As in, I'll be more inclined to do it around other people who *are* smoking on one hand, and then for two only ONLY if I'm doing something that really angers me or upsets me. Stress doesn't do it but extreme emotional triggers like that do.

However kissing someone after they had a Clove {Djarum Black} cigarette is omonomnomnomnom rape worthy.
