Space Station X910 was nothing out of the ordinary in the year 3903, nor was the augmentations that sported the inhabitants or the multiple species that resided within. What Space Station X910 did have, though, was one of the most infamous escape artists known to man in the forms of one single woman. Vespera Kingsley - code named Fortuna by her case file had been quite the cat burglar in her day. Until she finally had gotten caught after three years of on the run and several heists in her day.

Though the idea of her past being her day made her grimace mildly. She wasn't that old, probably in her mid to late twenties depending on what she wore. Prison had not been the most pleasant of places for the woman, but she had made her peace. Most left her alone if they actually decided to let her out of that clear box. They provided a privacy corner, thank whatever person who actually listened, but outside of that corner there was someone who had eyes on her twenty-four seven.

Which meant masturbating was a bitch.

She was sure it had to deal with the agent who finally caught her. At the moment, Vespera was more interested in the book she had finally acquired to distract her. There were marks on her walls, counting the days till her freedom. She had been in this hellhole for well over a year now judging by the marks she had written upon her walls but today was different. She just had that hair on the back of her hair standing on end.

And as if karma wanted to remind her about her sixth sense of things there was the guard at her door, entering the code to her cell with those space cuffs in hand to in case her from wrist to elbows. No way to wiggle out of that! They heard the hard way the standard issue would not be enough for their resident Fortuna. "Is it my birthday?" She asked sarcastically as the cuffs were attached, tossing her book over her shoulder as she was led from the room.

"You have a guest." was all the guard said as he soon deposited her into yet another room, though at least this one was far more amicable than her own quarters. The room actually had rather comfortable chairs and a table. She plopped herself into one of the chairs, waiting for her so call visitor to arrive with her chin resting on her hands. Not like she was going anywhere anytime soon.

Upon inspection, outside of the standard issue tank top and black pants that hugged her hips, Vespera was quite pretty. Also by the gaze  from those green eyes it was easy to tell the woman had indulged in some various tools for her trade. Augmented eyes for better seeing in the night but no harm during the day, making her pupils much like a cats.  Even her hair was a chestnut brown, that was easy to disguise and gave the impression of blending in. Her ears were also slightly augmented, a metal clip to her ear that if she stroked just right would give her some pretty decent amplification of sound. She didn't need it now, but as far as 'cat burglars' went she at least came prepared for everything.

Well except for running into *him* again.
Only in our sweetest lullaby do we realize how forsaken we are...
Because we're living in a fairy tale of lies.
