It was always a jolt to her system when someone generally touched her, and it was something akin to being gentle, affectionate even. It had always been rare that she had been touched let alone returned in her affections. Well the only two people who had other than what Neetle was doing now had cut into Cage's heart much worse than any knife had. She had tried to push away love and had devoted herself to her work essentially. However her body visibly relaxed when his hand stroked along her side. A simple touch could relieve a few hours tension if one did it right. A yawn left those lips as she sleepily nuzzled into his side. Sleep would claim her, as it always had, with open arms.

The others had always teased her when she had slept from the hunts. While she was the last to bed and first to rise when they were on the move, or if she was hunting alone, that sentiment didn't extend when she was 'off-duty' some could say. It wasn't uncommon for the amurjin to sleep the day away if she could. She liked to think it was catch up, and right now it was. It helped that Neetle was warm to boot. She had never understood how warm and how different it was to be next to someone who was living. Her feline tail coiled up over her hip as she drifted into a deeper sleep. She could get used to sleeping like this. It had been too long since she had this sort of opportunity and the last person who had, tried to kill her.

Her feline ears perked slightly in her sleep, her breathing changing from the deep sleep of before he arose to the much lighter one, where one wrong move could potentially wake the amurjin up. However he seemed to calm down that she was able to drift back into the sweet oblivion, occasionally nuzzling into him in her sleep. She muttered softly though when he lifted her from the forest floor and into his arms, nuzzling into his chest sleepily as her body remained limp but warm in his arms. How light she was would make some worried, but he had just saved her from the slave trade. Food which was laced with various items didn't suit Cage's forte, only eatting when she knew it was something they couldn't contaminate with something. That would change though once they got back to Eden, or even now, however most certainly by Eden.

She was fairly sure, if she had been awake, that she would have been able to tell Neetle wouldn't leave. Her unknown shadow throughout their time when Eden had been their home, for three glorious years it had been what had kept her together. Now? The only thing that had been keeping her from loosing her mind the past few days was the one who was carrying her away from the place where they slept. Absently she nuzzled into his chest, her hands kneading into it in her sleep as she tried to nestle herself closer to him. "Warm," she muttered softly before drifting back to more of a restful sleep. Not that it was hard to do considering how he carried her and how exhausted she still was. Though when he set her back down she curled up into that feline ball to keep herself warm. Afterall her male companion had been warm compared to the female.

Cage grumbled when she felt him poke and push at her, that tiger-striped feline tail swatting at him. "Five more minutes," she muttered, nestling herself back into the grass. Though if Neetle decided to go through with his plan, he'd be in for something else. The stripping her off part would be easy, it would what happened when he tried to toss her in that the tables would turn. The feeling of falling instantly woke the female up, it was a driven fact by now. However there was only one thing, or rather one person that would be in clinging reach to drag him down with her! Shooting straight up from the pool of cold water once she had untangled herself from the taller Neetle she took a deep breath in coughing, "What was that for?"

She put her hands on her hips trying to look imposing but failing miserably in consideration to his height, shooting him a look while the water dripped from the tips of her ears. Her hair was plastered to her naked skin and she blinked, Naked? She certainly didn't get there in her sleep she would have remembered that. Though far from modest she crossed her arms over her chest and pursed her lips. "Happy now?"

Dies Irae

In the end, Nettle had decided to go through with his devious plot to awaken the sleeping Rose, stripping her clothes silently and slowly, her slight stirs setting alarams off until she continued to sleep, once she was completely strippied he slowly moved his hands to her far side, in one quick motion she was falling into the spring, after the splashing and spluttering he stared down at her, a small smirk on his face "You sleep far to long Rose" he said patting her head softly, pulling her closer reaching to her back running fresh water along her healing wounds "Happy now that i clean your wounds" he said softly continuing to clean each wound she had been given, holding back a scowl of disgust at them.

When he was finished he moved back, only now did he actually take her in, though mostly covered in water, still her top half was visible aside from her chest that she had covered, he had never know rRose to be caring of her appearance, considering how she completed the majority of her jobs in the former life of Eden, smiling softly he pulled her closer, resting hands on her sides, running up and down gently, like one would hold a real Rose, looking down into her eyes, he couldn't stop getting closer to her, she was the only person who he could say trusted him, with the way he carried himself, that only came from the blind hatred the populace had for his kind, once found they were hunted and killed, seen as monsters, hiding that from Rose, he knew she would see him as a monster if she knew, but for now, he was just Nettle, nothing more.

Looking down at her, the dawn light hitting her, lightening her body, water droplets running down her soft skin, she was beautiful, even without the scene she was, he'd never tell her that, the years he had known her, watched over her, he'd never gotten so close to someone, but for now, he could wave the vow he had mad eto stay awat from people to protect himself, just for this moment, leaning closer, downward, his blue eyes looking into hers, before slowly he pressed his lips against hers, pulling her closer to him as he kissed her, he couldn't fight the urge to, but he could fight away the animalistic side of him, he wouldn't let that side come out with her in his presence, he wouldn't allow his curse to chase her away from him.

Pulling away from her slowly, his face holding a warmer smile as he held her close, looking at her "That was payback for last night" he muttered resting his head atop hers, running his fingers up and down her sides, he didn't know where the moment would lead, but he knew he wouldn't fight it, this was the first time he had ever been close to someone, the feeling was strange to him, but not one he disliked, he wanted to stay in that moment as long as he could, he felt happier in that moment, much happier than he had for many years.

"I do not, you forget I haven't had a decent night's sleep in too long." She prodded him in the chest with an accusing finger. "You are one to talk though." She shivered as he started running that cold water down her back, it was freezing to her once warm body. Reaching she pulled her white hair over her shoulder. Now that it was wet it was plastered to her skin, however she remained still as he addressed her wounds. She could tell just by the way he was standing that his approval of such wounds was very little. She also knew that if he ever found out who had done them to her they wouldn't live to see the dawn.

When he was done, she absently pulled her hair back over her shoulders. She knew he was watching her, and suddenly felt a little self-conscious, afterall Nettle had never - to her knowledge, seen her like this. With the mark of Eden above her hip, hours of slow tapping it had been ingrained into her skin, she knew now she wasn't her full self. She needed, eventually to really eat something to fill her back out again. That would happen when she got back to Eden, she knew that by now. Those silver eyes of hers looked up to his blue ones.

And for once, in her lifetime, she was left breathless and frozen in place. Her hands moved away from her breasts as he pulled her closer, sliding up his chest to wrap around the back of his neck. It was so natural for her, her heart skipped a beat, "Nettle..." she managed out, husky like when his lips met hers. There was the sweetness to the kiss, making her melt in his hold as she returned the kiss. Those silver eyes of hers molten as she clung to that moment. She wouldn't forget this, no matter what life took and gave her. This kiss she wouldn't forget.

But the moment was over far too soon as he pulled his lips away from hers. Her feline ears perked at his tone and those silver eyes, which had opened after the kiss, focused on him. "Payback would be true if it wasn't reciprocated, Nettle." She purred out softly as she relaxed in his hold. Shivers running down her spine as he stroked along her sides, gently nuzzling into his chest. This was true contentment she hadn't known in a long time. She was safe, and with Nettle against her at least a little bit warmer. She knew that things could go from here, but the question was where?

Nettle held Rose close, such warmth even in the cold of the water, he could stay like this, though he knew where they could go like this, and for once in his life he had no fear of letting it go there, staring down at her, his face bearing a more than warm smile to her, brushing the hair from her eyes he leaned close to her "We can stay awhile" he whispered softly to her ear, before his closeness began to let his mind step back and let his body do as it willed itself to, running small but noticeable nips along her collar and shoulder, his hands tracing feather light circles along her spine.

It was a strange feeling to be so close and pressing onward, his body acted while his mind was left to the task of supressing the animalistic desire he held withing him, pulling her close and kissing along her neck before his lips met hers again, so soft, warm and light, he had expected nothing less from Rose, but the feeling was still much more than what he had thought it would be like, the light was filling the spring slwly, the water sparlking as the light began to hit it, only then could he truly appreciate the beauty Rose had, though such admiration was short lived before he returned to adorning her shoulders and neck with light nips and kisses.

Returning to her ear small short breaths lightly brushing against her as he nipped her ear softly "You do have a choice in this" he whispered before he returned to lightly and playfully teasing at her ear, it was intimate and at the same time somewhat childish for him, but it felt natural, he would just go with what his human instinct told him, he dared not consider what the other sides instincts would be, though he knew that in anycase that half would in no way be pleasurable for Rose, that was the only certain thing he knew.

"But..." her voice faltered as he brought his warm body closer to her own. While he seemed to tower over her he took his time to get to be sweeter, gentler to her. This was a side of Nettle she had never seen. Her feline ear perked as she could feel his heated breath along it. Her mind was slowly forgetting the rationality of moving. Moving meant loosing this side of Nettle. Something she never wanted to risk doing considering how closed off he always tended to be. She was almost positive that she was the only one who could ever get this close.

His gentle touches sent shivers along her spine, her hands remaining still around his neck. Her body felt alive for the first time since she had been put in the pens. It was the touch he gave her that made it almost hard to breathe. Her pulse practically thrumming beneath his lips until they captured hers once more. Only then did her senses fully awaken and relish in what he was doing to her. Her hands slowly loosened their grip around his shoulders to rest on his shoulders.

She knew, as she had always known, that no where had she been safer than in Nettle's arms. Those silver eyes followed his almost hypnotic blue ones as they moved along her form. Her feline tail, though soaked now moved to entwine around his waist to keep them together. "I'm well aware that I have a choice, Nettle," She said gently before drawing his face closer to hers, "But so do you." She purred out as she captured his lips with her own, deepening the gentle kisses to the more tentative yearning ones.

Feeling Rose relax and become more longing for his actions made him calm, no longer could he have thoughts of doubt that she was accepting of what he was doing, looking down at her he smiled softly, kissing her forehead lightly before pulling her close to him "My choice has already been made" he muttered, pressing their lips together harder than before as she felt her change of mood, pulling away looking into her eyes he only smiled and scratched her ear lightly before his lips trailed downward along her cheek to her neck, nipping lightly before going downward along her shoulder.

Nettle let his hands rest lightly against her sides as his lips kissed along her body, gentle and soft nips tracing to her bare chest, he didn't know whether it was the right thing, someone like him had never been accustomed to intimacy, his lifestyle and secrets made that a certainty. Though worried for Rose in what she would do when she found out, if she found out even. He needn't think on it now, nothing but enjoying the moment they were sharing mattered to him. His hand pulled her close, his kisses tracing over her chest as he held her in his arms.

Her skin was warm, her body was beautiful, even the scars of the work they shared seemed to fit perfectly along her skin "Your so beautiful Rose..." he muttered softly breaking away the kisses to stare into her eyes, before leaning closer and pressing his lips against hers more passionately than before, as he got used to allowing Rose to become closer to him,  his actions began to intensify in intimacy, a skillset passed through generations he had buried deep within himself to keep him safer.

Cage's heart practically skipped a beat; his sweet kiss on her forehead brought that safety net that she had thought long ago had been impenetrable crashing down around her.  Her mingling with their racing heart beat in rhythmyn as he reclaimed her lips in a much firmer kiss, affirming his intentions to her further if the first time she didn't believe him. Honestly part of her still didn't believe he had tracked her down to the slave trade. He could have walked away from her, as many of the others  had, but here he was trailing his kisses along her cheek, dipping to the hollow of her throat. His teeth along her skin eliciting a soft intake of breath.

Nettle's tender kisses echoing the love bites was certainly doing wonders to Cage's formally too tired body. The pleasured heat mimicking a soft pain was echoing what she really was. The White Rose of Eden was certainly learning, and learning fast that she was his choice, even though she had known the man before her could have any woman...he had chosen her. With all her thorns, and sheathed deadliness he had seen the rose among the thousand thorns that she chose to guard herself with. She tilted her head back slightly, her silver hues watching him. She had no reason to distrust him, even if the man was filled with secrets.

Everyone had to hide their secrets, didn't they? Her hands slid away from his shoulders, down to the toned chest beneath. His skin was far warmer than her own, but that had been something she had always known about him. In a moment he had pulled her close enough so their bodies almost hovered a mere few inches apart. His sweet voice echoed in her feline ears, perking at his words, while a faint blush stained her cheeks. She felt almost like she had been born again and this was how first loves were supposed to be. Love was such a jaded thing to most, but it was so rare for Cage that she cherished it like the flower needed the rain.

When his lips descended on hers once more, she returned, her hands cupping his cheeks as her body made the intimate leap between them and pressed the two of them together. Skin to skin, her body felt like it was being sent electric waves through her entire body over and over again. The kiss lingered until it had left the two breathless, pulling her mouth away she gave him a feline like grin. "My turn," she purred out softly and her kisses moved from the corner of his lips, down his cheek to follow the same pattern he had done with her earlier. Only her tongue darted out, the slightly sandpaper texture lifting the water away from his chest as her lips followed along his chest. She hovered hover his heart beat, her feline ears listening ever so intently as her mouth started to move away.

"Do you trust me?" she breathed softly, those silver eyes focusing on him, her pupils almost feline slivers. "I'm not asking with just your life, or in your choice. I don't want to hurt you in any way I could. Not unless you would want me to." Though the safety net was gone for now to be replaced with his arms, she was still cautious. She didn't want him to regret this, it would change their companionship drastically. Hopefully for the better, yet there was always a chance...
