Journals and Abscences / Not Strong Enough
September 01, 2011, 11:18:22 PM
First off I want to apologise to Tako and Dies. Sorry sorry. I've been away for a while now due to family problems.

But I will try to get my posts done sometime in the next couple of days. It's just been rough being caught between two families that I'm a part of. Hopefully you guys can forgive me. :)

I'm just honestly not strong enough to keep those issues from affecting my muse and thus the rp's. Of course Im still not sure that I can keep that from happening but I will do my best.

Taboo Roleplay / Wit and Sin [Niketia x Dies Irae]
July 14, 2011, 04:17:55 PM
Night had fallen, the last rays of the sun having given up their hold to the moon. A crescent that gave off very little light, not that it mattered to the things that stalked the streets. No, only the humans needed the lights to see what waited for them in the shadows so patiently.

"Back again..."

A faintly British accent, one obviously that she tried to hide, reached her own ears. She hadn't meant to speak aloud but it would be alright. Not many would be out on a night like this one anyway. Fortunately for her. It meant that not many would be able to claim to have seen her here again after so many years of being gone. Especially since the "pack" had moved on.

Which again was fortunate for her because this time all she wanted was peace to live as she had chosen. Quietly. That would have been impossible had she come back at a time when the humans and other beings would be out in numbers.  You see, she would be nearly impossible to miss even on a dark night. Her inhuman attributes making her a very.... memorable person.

Silver ears flicked back and forth at every sound that reached her. Those ears matched the fur of the tail that trailed behind her, and the mid-back length hair that was pulled up into a high tail just behind her ears. Her clothes however were designed to be forgettable. Dark green cargo pants, black boots and a green tank top made up her current outfit of choice. Nothing that drew the eye really, of course as she had just gotten back into town that might change.

She'd been moving from place to place for as many years as she could remember.  This time though, she planned to stay. She was, what you would call, a stray. And now she was looking for a home.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she started walking. Maybe she would find a good place for the night. Or maybe she would find something interesting to occupy her until the morning.

Alternative Roleplay Requests / Carpathian Darkness
June 29, 2011, 02:23:47 PM
While talking with Dies and Tako about getting more active on the forum my muse decided she would come back from her... somewhat extended vacation and give me a new idea. Of course this doesn't help my thought process concerning Dies and my discussion so I had to write it down so my muse would let me be for just a second.

Anyhow, I thought it would be reather interesting to do something with Carpathians. If anyone has read and of the Dark series from Christine Feehan you know what I mean but I thought it might be fun. I don't have a plot in mind just yet but I'm working on it. :) If anyone is interested just let me know and we can sit down and work out a plot line that everyone can be happy with. =^.^=

This is a story I started a loooong time ago. Tako knows it well as she helped me edit it when it first came to be. I haven't done much with it in a couple years but I do believe I'm going to pick it back up now with the present happenings. Who knows... I might actually finish a story for a change. Thoughts and questions can be PM'ed to me or on my messenger at naomiravencrow@hotmail.com.

-----------------------------------------------------

If you need me, look for me where the darkness meets the light. Where there is no line between good and evil. Where everything is nothing and nothing is everything. Look for me where Balance reigns. Where life and death walk hand in hand. Where Destiny meets Fate. Where Love isn't questioned but instead it is just Love. Look for me there and call my name. I'll be there and I'll answer.....

She sighed, remembering her own words as she disappeared into the Twilight. She had never meant to cause them harm as she had. She had only wanted to protect them, to keep them from the pain she had faced. And she had failed.

Spreading her wings she glanced back over her shoulder before taking to the air with strong beats of her wings. She knew that once her words made sense they would search for her, but she also knew that the one that would awaken her again would not be among them. He wouldn't come until it was nearly to late. After what seemed like hours the woman landed in an old stronghold. Once it had been a beautiful castle for the Elementals. Now it lay in ruins after the great battle that had taken place.

Letting her gaze trail over the old stones she smiled sadly. She remembered exactly how everything had been. Where every stone had once lain. Where every tear had been shed in both happiness and pain. She remembered every word that had been whispered in passion and in fear. Where every drop of blood had been spilled as they defended their home. She remembered their cries of pain at the beginning, and then his cry of despair at the end.

This had been his home. And now this would be hers. Hers to watch over, hers to defend. But most of all hers to remember and to despair until the day she was awakened again.  Silently she walked through the now decaying doors, her feet barely making a sound on the dust covered floor. Pausing long enough to allow her eyes to adjust to the fading light she made her way deeper into the old castle.

Finding the room she wanted again the woman turned to look back the way she had come.

Perhaps you will understand someday. Look after each other and be happy. Fear not the darkness that lurks just out of sight. It will pass just as everything else has.

With one last glance around she pushed open the heavy oak doors. Smiling slightly when the doors opened with ease she paused. These doors had been all that had stood between them and the Elementals. It had been before these doors that they had made their last stand and won. These doors would only open to those who had strong ties to the Elementals. Walking through them her bare feet met with the lush green grass of the inner courtyard. This had been where Earth had died after the battle. This is where his cry had echoed from as her last words reached their ears.

She had told him he would loose both of them here. Her first then the other not long after. He had tried to keep that from happening, but Earth had known. She had known before any the pain and betrayal that she would face. And now Earth's final words were coming true. He would loose her here just as he had lost Earth. Just in a different manner.

Earth... my sister, your spirit still lingers here. I had thought you would have gone on to your next life where you could be happy again.

Her soft voice whispered as the flowers bloomed around her feet.

Dearest Light it is not time for me to go.  This day I will go on after you sleep just as I told you I would.  I had hoped that my words would not become the truth and that you would be happy after the last battle was won... I had hoped that I would be proven wrong.

A second feminine voice floated towards her as a womans figure approached her in the fading light. Light smiled sadly as she watched the spirit of her sister glide closer without disturbing the grass and flowers in the courtyard. Even in death her sister was beautiful. Her long dark brown hair was just as Light remembered it on the day of the last battle. It had been tied up into a high ponytail to keep it from interfering with Earth's vision. Light could still see the twin daggers that Earth had used as her primary weapons glittering at Earth's hip, the blood of their enemies non existant on the shining silver of the unsheathed blades.

Earth had always said that sheaths were a waste of time when you needed your weapon right away. Earth's voice snapped Light out of her thoughts when she spoke again.

Light why have you come so soon? You aren't meant to be here yet, they still need you.

Earth you know why I have come. I can't stay any longer. Everything you knew would happen has and there's nothing that can fix it until He understands what he has brought about. It's time for me to sleep until he comes to awaken me again.

As you wish dear sister, but what of the others? Do they know that you are to sleep for many many centuries?

Only Wind knows how long I will sleep.

Light looked around her once again before stepping into the middle of the courtyard. There had always been a marble platform resting here, even before the castle had been built it had rested here.  Spreading her wings slightly Light smiled at her sister's spirit before both began chanting the spell that would allow Light to sleep.

Once they completed the spell Earth watched with troubled eyes as her once lively sister took one last breathe before becoming a stone statue that would stand until He came. Just before the transformation was complete a single tear escaped down Light's cheek to become part of the White marble that held the Elemental Light.

Earth lingered for a moment longer, staring at what had once been the woman that had restored His heart.

I hope this does not last as long as I fear it will. He still needs you dear one.

----------------------------------

As Light fell into the Sleep Wind wept for her sisters. She knew why Light had gone back to their old home, and she knew that until He understood and realized the reason she would sleep. Light would be a reminder of his failure, and of his greatest achievement.  And now the young Elemental would be a reminder of the last battle. Both Light and Earth lost in the same place only seven years apart.

Earth had been lost to mortal wounds, while Light had been of a broken spirit. Wind knew how badly both of her sister's had hurt and now she knew their resting place. Drying her tears Wind looked up into the night sky and smiled. The moon was full and bright. Something Light had always said would be a sign that one day everyone would be back. Wind had always been comforted by the moon and now it seemed that it was shinning just Little brighter than normal.

Wind bit back more tears as He approached. He was never far from them anymore. He never left them to their own devices for long and now she regretted staying here for as long as she had. This had been Light's place to think. Now Earth and Light seemed to linger here and Wind felt that in this place she was safe. She knew he sisters would never leave her completely alone and for that she was thankful.

Where is she Wind?

His voice was cold and Wind shivered. She knew who He was asking for but she would not tell Him until it was time.

If you don't know where She is then you don't need to. When the time is right you will know. Until then I will not tell you.

When He growled Wind turned to face him and growled back. She would not be intimidated into telling him. She refused to go back on something she had decided long ago she would not do.

If you truly cared about Her you would have been able to keep Her here. Instead you left Her behind and didn't even think twice about what you were doing to Her. What you made Her feel like. If you really wanted to know where She would go you should have thought of that when you walked away from Her after Earth died. She was in just as much pain as you were and you didn't give a damn about Her! You let Her suffer alone. It was you that drove Her to believe she was alone! And it was because of YOU that no one could make Her see otherwise!

Wind's eyes narrowed as she finally spoke her mind about how He had treated Light before she left. Once she finished her hands where shaking and her nails had dug into the palms of her hands as she curled her fingers into small fists. She had watched her sister cry more times than she cared to remember over Him and now she was tired of Him treating Light like she was a possession to be picked up and dropped whenever he saw fit. She was tired of him treating them all that way.

His eyes widened a fraction though it was nearly unnoticeable to anyone else. He hadn't even realized Light had felt that way. She had never brought it to his attention. Then as Wind turned and walked away, clearly annoyed and wanting to be alone he understood. He should have been the one to speak with Light about how she felt. Light had always been the one to try and hide her feelings and this time she hadn't and he'd ignored her. He had failed her again without even realizing he was doing so.

Wind had long ago left the small clearing that He had found her in and had been walking the entire time.  With the trees of the forest around her Wind felt more at peace than she had in the clearing. Glancing around her Wind made her way silently towards the tower she would call home for the rest of the time she had. Even now she could see it through the trees and she wondered if she'd live to see her sisters again.

Pushing the single oak door open Wind sighed. She knew Light could still see them. Light had promised to look after her even though she couldn't be at her side. Shaking her head stubbornly Wind resolved to push the thoughts of Earth and Light out of her mind until she could better handle the knowledge that she had now lost both of her Sisters.

Pulling the door shut behind her Wind made her way up the long spiral staircase that would lead her to her Library and to her chambers. Before she went to her rooms she wanted to write Little in her Journals. She would keep track of the years that the Elementals were separated. She alone would truly remember why. And it would be Wind and Wind alone that would hold the answers to so many questions that would be asked once all of the Elementals walked the world again.

Stepping into her large Library Wind looked around. All of the walls were filled with shelves that held books, tombs, scrolls, parchments and other old texts. The shelves went to the ceiling with balconies sparadicly placed for readers who wished to enjoy the books but who wanted to remain inside the Library. Wind loved this place the most out of her home. Here she could sit for hours on end with no one but her books and she could be happy.

Smiling sadly Wind made her way through the shelves until she reached her large cherry wood desk. Running her fingers over the smooth wood Wind sighed. She knew that much of her time would be spent here now. Sitting in the high backed chair Wind pulled her Journal towards her and picked up her favorite quill pen. Opening a small ink jar she set about writing her thoughts and the events that had occured.  Once she had finished she gently pulled open a small drawer near her left hand and picked up another small Journal. This she would use to write letters to her sisters and hope that someday they would find and read them.

Dearest Earth you have no idea the pain you have left behind. It has been seven years since your death to the day and we have all but fallen apart. Light has gone to join you in the Old Courtyard and He has yet to fully understand and realize just how badly He pained Her. After you died He seemed to stop caring. The Elementals have fallen into ruin over this seven years and now I believe that we will all but vanish entirely. Even now I can feel the Balance shifting and I can feel how the Elements are becoming unruly and uncontrollable. I fear that now all of us will fall to corruption and kill this world that we have all worked to protect... Sister I believe this is the beginning of our End. I can only hope I am wrong.

-------------------------------------

As the others fell into despair and darkness Fire stood in the ancient Library.  Fire felt as Light fell into the Sleep and sighed. Fire and Light had been  close in the beginning and Fire would miss his friend even though they had become bitter towards one another near the end.

Fire looked to the tombs of the Elements and smiled. The jewel embedded into the spine of Light's tome still resonated with her inner Light showing him that she had not yet given up completely. He smiled again as he watched the Jewels. Wind's still glowed softly in the dusty confines of the shelf where it had been placed. His own shown brightly from a higher shelf. Earth's had stoped glowing for a time but now despite having gone on to the next life it had begun to shine again.  With a curious glance he made note that the other three, Water, Darkness, and Spirit still glittered along the walls as well. Though Darkness's had dimmed slightly.

Fire sighed softly. He would never truly understand until that light stopped shining. Light had left specific instruction that none save Wind and Fire himself were to be allowed to read Earth's nor Her own tome until both returned. Not even He could read them and Light had made sure of it. He wouldn't know the location of the Tomes in the Library, however he would where the Library was. Just as all Ancients did.

---------------------------------

She felt she was alone... She was never alone...

He stood, still in the clearing Wind had left him in replaying everything she had said over and over again. He looked up at the moon and sighed. He had left Her because He hadn't wanted to loose Her as He had Earth. Now that both of Them had been lost to Him He wondered what would be Lost next. He could still feel Light's presence as if She were there in the clearing with him but He knew better. Light had left and She had been right to do so. Now He would wait for Her just as He had made Her wait for Him.

----------------------------------

Dearest Sister Light, today you left us to Sleep just as Earth said you would. He has asked after you but I know He still does not understand. I know how long you will sleep but dearest sister I do not think it should have gone the way it has. You are still needed here with us. However I understand your decision, and I can see why you felt it was time to be made. I have tried to make certain that all of your wishes have been carried out as you asked them to be, but I have one left that I must see to. I must make sure your Child knows where to find you and that only he may know.  Your Child will be hurt dear sister, by this, but I promise you, just as I did when you told me, that I will look after him.
--------------------------------

Staring up at the moon, He sighed. Things had gotten so far out of hand so fast and he wondered why he hadn't noticed. 'That's simple', He thought 'I was to busy trying to keep those words from becoming truths that I didn't see that I was making them what I tryed to keep them from becoming.'

Growling softly to himself, He lowered himself into a seated position in the center of the clearing. He could still smell her scent, albeit mixed with the scent of nature which she had so loved. He knew now what he had done, but he knew as well that He couldn't change it. He had lost Earth in battle, now he had lost Light because of his own stupidity and selfishness. He would not mourn her as he had Earth. He would not spend his days searching for a solution to a problem he knew he couldn't fix.

Then he remembered her words, and though he knew what she had meant he couldn't understand what she meant. Afterall knowing and understanding were two very different things.  Cursing himself under his breath he stood and began to leave the clearing, never noticing the spectar of Light just inside the trees. Never seeing her tear as it fell to the ground, a small sparkle almost as if a jewel had been dropped and had caught the moon's light, before fading out of existence once more.

And he never saw that look of pain that flashed across the specters face as she slowly dissipated into the night air. Nor did he hear the softly whispered words that fell from her lips, the words she longed for him to hear and know.

My last wish for you
please forgive me for it all.
My love, my last wish
Be safe, And remember
Remember
My last wish for you,
My love, My life
Forgive me for it all...
I love you
Always and forever,
Even as my soul sleeps,
And my mind drifts
Yours forever I remain.
My love, My last wish
for you I will return.
To you I will return.
Wait for me
My love, My last wish...

Roleplay Requests by Females / End of all Hope
June 13, 2011, 04:48:02 PM
Where to start, where to start...?

Well I suppose I should start with what I have done in the past, yes? I play mostly female characters however, I do have the odd male floating around in my mind. I do prefer to play a female but it depends on the situation.

I will play almost anything, however it is rare that I will play as a human, unless of course the human is an exceptional human, such as a pirate. ^.~ Mainly my persona's will range more towards the fantasy end of the spectrum.

Sexual situations are not usually apart of my storylines out of respect for my other half however innuendos are in. I do have a rather twisted sense of humor when it comes to it but I stay rather to myself in that respect.

Oh! I can generally be found playing as a wolf. I will accept requests for certain character races it just might take me a minute to do a little research so that I can stay true to my partner's request. If you have any questions about something I will or won't do just ask.

I don't bite, I promise... Or at least, not to hard ^.~
